Tattoos vary in size, detail, amount of color and level of expertise required to make them! All these variables affect the pricing. Our artists price each tattoo individually some work is done by the piece, small single session tattoos are often priced this way. Larger multiple session tattoos are often priced hourly.
Larger Tattoos (sleeves, Back pieces, legs) may require larger deposits.
All appointments require a NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT of $80. Your deposit will be deducted from the price of your last session. If you need to reschedule, you must give at least 24 hour notice. Insufficient notice forfeits your deposit. Your artist will appreciate as much notice as possible. Thank You!
Your artist uses top of the line pigments, needles and antiseptic/creams etc. All equipment is top of the line as well! This is the minimum price that allows us to provide this service at the highest safest standards.
Artists have hourly rates that vary based on years of experience, speed at which they Tattoo, awards and accomplishments and demand for their time. The minimum at Dv8 is $150 an hour. I wouldn’t suggest allowing rates to be the determining factor when choosing an artist, as the bitterness of a bad tattoo lasts much longer than the sweetness of a cheap tattoo.
A basic rule of thumb to follow is 10%-30% Here are some things to keep in mind: Your tip should reflect your experience. Was your artist totally awesome, informative and attentive? Did they take your vision and turn it into something magical? Then perhaps you may feel like tipping on the higher end of the scale. Was your piece super complicated? Did you really put their skills to work? Did you make a lot of changes to the original design?
Our pricing system differs from the local shops as we have a piercing fee and jewelry cost that varies based on value and workmanship of the jewelry chosen. We offer internally threaded and thread less titanium and gold jewelry with many genuine stones available. We at Dv8 pride ourselves with regard to the quantity and quality of the jewelry options we offer our clients.
Most Piercings are $25-$30 surface piercings and genital work is slightly higher
